  • Publication number: 20220122399
Abstract: Embodiments of a method are disclosed. In the method, it is checked whether a person stayed in a building or part of the building for less or no longer than a predefined duration to perform an action and/or only stayed in a predefined region of a building or part of the building. The building is accessible via an entrance securable with respect to unauthorised entry. Also, embodiments of a method are disclosed in which it is checked whether a person stayed in the building for less or no longer than a predefined duration to perform an action. Embodiments of a method are also disclosed in which information to unlock or indicative of a successful unlocking of an entrance securable with respect to unauthorised entry is received, and one or a plurality of signals which allow a position in the building to be deduced are provided.

  • Patent number: 10557899
Abstract: An adjustment device (1) for an RF resonant circuit (96) of an NMR probe (90) has a plurality of movable elements (6) which are arranged in succession, such that adjacent movable elements mutually engage, so as to be movable relative to one another in a limited range. The movable elements each have at least one electrical functional part (20; 20a-20b) for adjusting the RF resonant circuit. N outwardly oriented electrical contact elements (15; 15a-15b; 23, 24) include at least two functional part terminals (21, 22), and the electrical contact elements are each connected to a functional part terminal. The adjustment device also includes a first connection assembly (11) for slidingly contacting at least a portion of the movable elements from outside, to contact the contact elements in dependence on the movement position of the movable elements, as well as a movement device (4), configured to move one of the movable elements.

  • Patent number: 10552654
Abstract: As disclosed herein, an apparatus receives data from sensors that are arranged in a repository facility so they can capture repository locations of the repository facility and a path in the repository facility. It derives an identification and a position of an object in the repository facility from the received data. It causes storage of the position of the object in association with its identification if a position is not yet stored for the object. If a position is already stored for the object, the apparatus checks the position on the basis of the derived position and causes storage of the derived position in the event of a change. On obtaining an enquiry in regard to the position of an object in the repository facility, the apparatus reads a position of the object, stored in association with the identification of the object, and provides information regarding the position.

  • Patent number: 10534663
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for transmitting device-specific data over a data transmission system to a plurality of devices connected to the data transmission system. In one step of the method, a broadcast announcement identified with a broadcast identifier is sent to the devices over the data transmission system. An individual device indicator and the broadcast identifier are assigned to each one of the devices. The individual devices are put in a state of readiness to receive the device-specific data after the broadcast announcement has been received. Data reception readiness confirmations are transmitted by the individual devices after the respective device has reached the state of readiness to receive the device-specific data. According to the invention, there is a joint transmission of the device-specific data over the data transmission system to the devices after the devices have transmitted the data reception readiness confirmations.

  • Publication number: 20190172288
Abstract: A method for a shipment storage apparatus is disclosed. The shipment storage apparatus includes a storage space having a plurality of shipment retainers arranged in it. In the method, access authorization information is obtained. The access authorization information authorises a user to access one or more of the shipment retainers. It is determined whether access by the user to one or more of the shipment retainers can be granted, at least in part on the basis of the obtained access authorization information. Only if it has been determined that access by the user to one or more of the shipment retainers can be granted, access of the user to the storage space is granted, and it is determined whether the user accesses only the one or more of the shipment retainers that the access authorization information authorises the user to access.

  • Publication number: 20060212633
Abstract: A method and system for routing network-based data arranged in frames is disclosed. A host processor analyzes transferred bursts of data and initiates an address and look up algorithm for dispatching the frame to a desired destination. A shared system memory existing between a network device, e.g., an HDLC controller, working in conjunction with the host processor, receives data, including any preselected address fields. The network device includes a plurality of ports. Each port includes a FIFO receive memory for receiving at least a first portion of a frame. The first portion of the frame includes data having the preselected address fields. A direct memory access unit transfers a burst of data from the FIFO receive memory to the shared system memory. A communications processor selects the amount of data to be transferred from the FIFO receive memory based on the desired address fields to be analyzed by the host processor.
