Abstract: A packaging unit comprises at least one first piece of packaging material, wherein the first piece of packaging material has a coated paper, which has a base paper and at least three coatings applied one on top of the other on the base paper. The at least three coatings have in a sequence in which they are given, starting from the base paper, a first barrier layer, comprising at least one hydrophobic polymer, a second barrier layer, comprising at least one hydrophilic polymer, and a third barrier layer, comprising at least one hydrophobic polymer. Furthermore, the packaging is closed in a gas-tight manner.

Abstract: A composition may be or include detergents, cleaning agents, and cosmetic agents and include an emulsifier and biodegradable microcapsules. The biodegradable microcapsules may include a core material and a shell where the shell consists of at least one barrier layer and a stability layer. The barrier layer may surround the core material. The stability layer may include at least one biopolymer and be arranged on the outer surface of the barrier layer(s).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a coated paper comprising a base paper and a barrier layer applied thereto, the barrier layer comprising at least one polymer, the polymer comprising an at least partly saponified polyvinyl alcohol and/or an at least partly saponified polyvinyl alcohol copolymer, each of which has an onset temperature of less than 210° C. determined by DSC.

Abstract: Washing and cleaning agents may include microcapsules comprising a core material where the core material may include at least one fragrance and a shell. The shell may consist of at least one first layer and one second layer with different chemical compositions. The shell may have a biodegradability, measured in accordance with OECD 301 F, of at least 40%. Such agents may be used for conditioning textiles or for cleaning textiles and/or hard surfaces.

Abstract: In accordance with a first aspect, the invention relates to microcapsules for use in a high demand area selected from detergents and cleaners, cosmetic products, adhesive systems, paints and dispersions, coating materials comprising a core material and a shell, wherein the shell consists of at least a first and a second layer whose chemical compositions differ, and wherein the shell has a biodegradability measured according to OECD 301 F of at least 40%. The invention further relates to a product comprising microcapsules, wherein the product is selected from the group consisting of an adhesive system; a cosmetic product; a pharmaceutical product; a coating material, in particular a coated paper; a heat storage coating, a self-healing coating or a corrosion coating; and a coating of functional packaging materials.
