  • Patent number: 11831143
Abstract: Disclosed are power distribution systems and methods in which a power distribution unit (PDU) is provided with an overcurrent protection device and per-outlet current sensing at each of the multiple electrical outlets of the PDU. The described embodiments enable the identification of the electronic device connected to a specific outlet or electronic device that may have caused the overcurrent protection device to trip. The methods of outlet identification in a PDU having multiple electrical outlets includes detecting whether either a peak current or a half-cycle root mean square (RMS) current at each outlet has exceeded a selected threshold prior to the occurrence of the trip event associated with the overcurrent protection device.

  • Publication number: 20220205223
Abstract: A method calculates an excavation volume that was excavated by a construction machine using a tool. A motion trajectory of the tool over time is determined using one or more of the following sensors: inertial measurement unit, angle sensors, and linear sensors. At least part of the motion trajectory is classified based on machine load data as an excavation trajectory during which excavation occurs. The excavation volume is calculated using the excavation trajectory and dimensions of the tool.

  • Publication number: 20220195705
Abstract: A method is for putting down a tool of a construction machine. A position and an orientation of the tool relative to the construction machine or to a direction of Earth's gravity is determined by one or more of the following sensors including: an inertial measuring unit, an angle sensor, a linear sensor, and/or by an algorithm for determining a kinematic chain of the construction machine. Moreover, an orientation of at least one part of the construction machine, which part touches the ground, and which orientation characterizes an orientation of the construction machine relative to the ground, is determined relative to Earth's gravity. Based on this determination, movement of the tool is controlled, in order to bring a lower face of the tool to the same level and in the same orientation as the at least one part touching the ground, for putting down the tool.

  • Patent number: 10733034
Abstract: A method for routing trace messages during an execution of a data processing pipeline is provided. The method may include receiving, at a master node, a request from a client to receive trace messages output by a worker node executing at least a portion of the data processing pipeline. The master node and the worker node may be part of a distributed cluster of computing nodes. The trace messages may correspond to events occurring during the execution of at least the portion of the data processing pipeline. The master node may respond to the request by subscribing to a trace stream published by the worker node. The trace stream may include the trace messages output by the worker node. The master node may generate a user interface for displaying, at the client, the trace messages. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20080291844
Abstract: A system that includes a network server and a number of network clients connected to the server through a daisy chained network. These network clients include a clamper circuit parallel coupled to the daisy network, with the clamper adapted to detect a signal transmitted through the daisy network and adapted to short circuit the daisy network when the signal has been detected. A detect and blocking circuit can detect a signal on the transmission line via measuring voltage or current going trough the transmission line, and as a result of a detection block or interrupt the signal. The detect and blocking circuit can be enabled and disabled by the network client controller in that a detect and blocking instance is memorized by detect and blocking circuit enabling the network client controller to acquire the detect and blocking circuit if a detect and blocking instance has occurred.

  • Publication number: 20040171094
Abstract: The invention relates to a novel sensor wherein the micro titer plates or supports are fitted with wells receiving the specimens to ascertain oxygen content. The wells contain luminescent or fluorescent dyes (for instance platinum, palladium or ruthenium complexes with phenathroline, porphyrin or pyridine ligands) which are imbedded in the particles of a gas-permeable but water-impermeable matrix. The matrix is a polystyrene derivative or a polystyrene copolymer. The particles in turn are dispersed in a second, water-permeable matrix consisting of a hydrophilic polymer such as polyhydroxy methacrylate, polyvinyl alcohol or polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
