Abstract: Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is C.sub.1-6 alkyl, phenyl, C.sub.3-6 cycloalkyl, phenylalkyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl or ##STR2## R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 being H or alkyl, R.sub.5 being alkenyl or alkynyl, and the sum of the carbon atoms in R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 being 2 to 5, R.sub.2 is as defined for R.sub.1 and may also represent ##STR3## in which n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, it also being possible for R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 to form, with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, a 5-, 6- or 7-membered heterocyclic radical which can contain another hetero-atom chosen from O and N and which can carry 1 or 2 substituents, Z is phenyl, pyridinyl, thienyl, thiazol-2-yl or substituted phenyl, X and R.sub.0 are H, halogen, C.sub.1-3 alkyl, C.sub.1-3 alkoxy, nitro or CF.sub.3, A represents N or CH and E represents N or CH, some of which are known compounds, are therapeutically useful compounds useful in the treatment of anxiety states or of pulmonary, renal, circulatory or cardiovascular disorders.

Abstract: Antiarhythmic medicaments containing, as active substance, a compound of the formula: ##STR1## in which n is 1 or 2, X and Y are fixed in positions 5, 6, 7 or 8 on the quinoline cycle and each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkoxy group having 1 to 3 carbons, R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbons, cycloalkyl having 3 to 8 carbons, phenyl or phenyl substituted by alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbons, R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbons or a phenylalkyl group of which the alkyl part has 1 to 3 carbons, R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbons or an alkenyl group having 2 to 4 carbons.

Abstract: Compounds, useful as medicaments, of the formula: ##STR1## in which R is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl or arylalkyl, R.sub.1 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, alkyl, arylalkyl, phenyl, pyridyl, thienyl or substituted phenyl, X is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, trifluoromethyl, nitro, amino or amino substituted by one or two alkyl groups, and A represents a CO or CH.sub.2 group.

Abstract: Compounds of the general formula: ##STR1## in which X represents a hydrogen or halogen atom, for example fluorine or chlorine, and R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or alkenyl group having 2 to 3 carbon atoms are disclosed together with methods for their preparation and their use in the treatment of migraines, as anti-thrombosis agents or as rapid acting thymoanaleptic medicaments.

Abstract: Compounds, useful as medicaments, of the formula: ##STR1## in which R is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl or arylalkyl, R.sub.1 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, alkyl, arylalkyl, phenyl, pyridyl, thienyl or substituted phenyl, X is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, trifluoromethyl, nitro, amino or amino substituted by one or two alkyl groups, and A represents a CO or CH.sub.2 group.

Abstract: Compounds, which can be used as medicaments, of the formula: ##STR1## in which n is 1, 2 ore 3, X is fixed in position 4, 5, 6 or 7 on the cycle ##STR2## and represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom or an alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, the ##STR3## is fixed in position 2 or 3 on the cycle ##STR4## and the broken line represents a second possible bond, are disclosed for the treatment of states of depression, as analgesics and anti-migraine substances.

Abstract: The compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which Ar is phenyl or phenyl substituted by 1 or 2 alkoxy groups, by a halogen atom or by a trifluoromethyl group are disclosed together with a process for the preparation thereof. These compounds are antidepressants and antiparkinson agents.
