  • Patent number: 11958880
Abstract: The present invention provides means and methods for equipping a polypeptide of interest at its C-terminus with a versatile adaptor amino acid that allows the functionalization of the polypeptide of interest.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 29, 2022
Date of Patent: April 16, 2024
Assignees: LUDWIG-MAXIMILIANS-UNIVERSITÄT MÜNCHEN, FORSCHUNGSVERBUND BERLIN E.V.

  • Publication number: 20240058919
Abstract: In a method for fine-processing of an axicon (L) having a concave or convex cone surface (KF) with a cone axis (KA) and a cone angle (?), with use of geometrically indeterminate cutting edges in the form of grain in combination with a liquid at a processing region (BB) of a tool (W2), which is constructed for linear engagement (LE) with the cone surface and has a front end (EB) with respect to the cone axis, material removal is produced at the cone surface by a relative cutting speed which results from a rotational movement of the axicon about the cone axis and a relative oscillating linear movement (oscillation axis R) of the tool, in which the processing region is disposed in linear engagement with the cone surface and its front end moves back and forth in a direction radial with respect to the cone axis.

  • Publication number: 20130069021
Abstract: A tin oxide-containing polymer composite material, a process for production thereof, and use thereof for production of tin-carbon composite material containing: an inorganic tin-containing phase; and a carbon phase. Additionally, a compound of formula (I): R1—X—Sn—Y—R2 (I), wherein: R1 is an Ar—C(Ra,Rb)— radical where Ar is an aromatic or heteroaromatic ring optionally containing 1 or 2 substituents; Ra and Rb are each independently hydrogen or methyl, or together are an oxygen atom or a methylidene group (?CH2); R2 is C1-C10-alkyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, or R1; or R1 together with R2 is a radical of the formula A: wherein: A is an aromatic or heteroaromatic ring fused to the double bond; m is 0-2; each R radical is independently selected from halogen, CN, C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C6-alkoxy, and phenyl, Ra, Rb are as in formula (1); X is O, S or NH; and Y is O, S or NH.

  • Patent number: 8057284
Abstract: A tool for polishing and fine-grinding optically active surfaces in precision optics has a main body which can be attached in a rotationally fixed manner to a tool spindle of a machining machine. A guide element is arranged concentrically in the main body and is mounted such that it can be displaced axially therein. A machining disk is replaceably attached to the outer end of the guide element. The main body is rigidly connected in a rotationally fixed manner, over the full displacement travel, to the guide element mounted such that it can be displaced axially therein, and in that the machining disk is rigidly fixed in a non-tiltable manner on the guide element.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 22, 2009
Date of Patent: November 15, 2011
