  • Patent number: 10661056
Abstract: One embodiment provides a support catheter member assembly, preferably for cardiac interventional procedures, comprising an elongated tubular body having proximal and distal ends, and a plurality of lumina extending axially therethrough. A plurality of support members extend through the catheter, exit at a defined distance from its distal opening, and reattach at its distal end. Manipulation of support members leads to their flexing outward/retraction towards the catheter, providing an adjustable support assembly with which the position of a separate guide catheter can be stabilized.

  • Patent number: 10569050
Abstract: A wire assembly having a pre-shaped, flexible distal configuration deliverable through a vascular catheter, that assumes the pre-shaped distal configuration upon exiting the vascular catheter thereby permitting an operator to stabilize the position of a separate vascular guide catheter during a coronary interventional procedure.

  • Publication number: 20150128477
Abstract: A fishing lure having a long axis provided at its proximal portion, an elongated stiff wire shaft having a bent or looped portion on its proximal end for attaching fishing line or a swivel thereto, and a bent or looped portion on its distal end. The distal portion of said long axis is formed by either a flexible element, or by a second elongated stiff wire shaft, or by one or more split rings. At the distal end one or more hooks are attached, at least one carrying a weight element. The fishing lure includes at least one spinner blade assembly connected to a span of the proximally located stiff wire shaft, that it is free to rotate 360°. A rigid element is attached to the wire shaft between its proximal end and the spinner blade assembly, containing one or more openings representing attachment locations for fishing lines or swivels.

  • Patent number: 6866146
Abstract: The invention provides a protective case for stringed musical instruments, comprising a base part and a top part. A plurality of soft, cushioned support members, located in the base part and the top part, holds the instrument when positioned in the closed case. The position of these support members limits the possible contact of the body of the enclosed instrument with the interior of the case to the lateral rim of the back, the ribs, and the lateral rim of the soundboard. Possible contact between the most vulnerable parts of the instrument (i.e. the center portions of the back and the soundboard) and the interior of the case is eliminated, resulting in a substantially reduced likelihood of damage to the instrument during storage and transportation. Several alternate embodiments of the invention are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6645160
Abstract: The invention provides a catheter, to be used preferably for cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, comprising an elongated tubular body having a proximal and a distal end, and at least one lumen extending axially therethrough. A plurality of support members (e.g. wires) extends through the catheter, essentially parallel to its axis, exits the catheter at a defined distance from its distal opening, and is attached at the catheter in proximity to its distal end. Manipulation of these support members leads to their flexing outward or their retraction towards the catheter, providing an adjustable support for the catheter enabling a safer and more secure engagement of the ostia of coronary arteries.

  • Patent number: 6609671
Abstract: A new spool design for fishing reels is disclosed, allowing for the reversible separation of the spool into different parts for the easy removal of old fishing line and wherein a specially configured aperture is exposed upon separation of the spool parts, allowing for the introduction of one end of the line into the interior of the spool. The line can be attached to the inside of the spool, providing for a secure fastening of the line without exposure of the knot to the exterior of the spool.

  • Patent number: 6325538
Abstract: A shield apparatus is disclosed that encloses the human torso (or part of a human torso) during X-ray procedures. The shield protects medical personnel from scatter radiation, is adjustable to fit different size torsos, and will move with the X-ray equipment as the position of the equipment is adjusted to examine different areas of the body.
