  • Publication number: 20180178521
Abstract: A method to activate a printing element of an inkjet printer can include determining print data that indicates the usable print image to be printed with image point(s). The image point(s) are arranged at matrix point(s) of a print matrix. The method can also include determining virtual refresh data that indicates a virtual refresh image with refresh dots positioned at the matrix points based on a random algorithm, and activating the first printing element based on the virtual refresh data and the print data for the first column of the print matrix. The first printing element can be activated at a matrix point of the first column with: an ejection waveform to eject an ink droplet if the print data indicates an image point; and a vibration waveform to vibrate an ink meniscus of the first printing element without ink ejection if the virtual refresh data indicates a refresh dot.

  • Publication number: 20180126729
Abstract: In a printing system and a corresponding method, different nozzles of a print head can be activated to eject a nominal ink quantity with different ejection pulses to at least partially compensate for non-uniformities between the different nozzles due to crosstalk. The compensation can reduce system-dependent streaking of the print image.

  • Publication number: 20180056650
Abstract: In the method for controlling actuators, corresponding actuators are controlled so that they eject the ink droplets for the print image. Corresponding actuators are additionally controlled in order to eject refresh droplets in the image background according to a random distribution. In the event that no image droplet is printed between two successive refresh droplets, the ink meniscus is set into vibration as a refresh measure between the refresh droplets.

  • Publication number: 20160322250
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a chuck system for handling a wafer that comprises a first and a second main surface. The chuck system includes a chuck configured to hold the wafer at the second main surface facing the chuck and a release device. The chuck system further includes an actuator configured to lift the release device away from the chuck. The release device is configured such that the release device mechanically engages with the wafer at an edge portion of the second main surface of the wafer when being lifted, thereby releasing the wafer from the chuck.

  • Publication number: 20160251212
Abstract: A beverage dispenser with a variable pressure regulator cap assembly that includes a high pressure cavity defined by a cap body. The high pressure cavity receives pressurized gas from a compressed gas reservoir. A low pressure cavity is connected to the high pressure cavity via a high pressure gas passageway. The low pressure cavity defines a low pressure gas passageway that penetrates the cap body. A piston seat is positioned on a high pressure cavity side of the high pressure gas passageway. A piston regulates introduction of the pressurized gas into the high pressure gas passageway. A diaphragm is positioned between an ambient pressure cavity and the low pressure cavity and translates the piston relative to the piston seat. A main spring is positioned between a diaphragm and a spring hat. Rotation of the drive screw translates the spring hat to affect compression of the main spring against the diaphragm.
