  • Publication number: 20230303188
Abstract: A vehicle floor has a carrier beam structure that has a plurality of beams; a floor structure that has at least one floor panel; and an energy storage structure that is fastened to an underside of the beam structure and/or the floor structure such that the energy storage structure is supported on a support region of the floor panel by at least one support arrangement, in particular at least one elastomer element.

  • Patent number: 7276295
Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention relates to a metal foil with an embossed structure for use in the purification of exhaust gas as well as to a tool and a method for its production. In the direction of the main flow, the metal foil has alternating peaks with ascending flanks and descending flanks and valleys, with the peaks and valleys being divided into rows parallel to the direction of the main flow and with the peaks and valleys of adjacent rows being staggered in the direction of the main flow in such a way that the ascending flanks and the descending flanks of the staggered peaks form a trough which connects the staggered valleys.

  • Publication number: 20070113540
Abstract: The invention relates to a radial-flow annular catalyst body for installation in a muffler housing of a small-size engine, an exhaust system for a small-size engine and a method for producing the catalyst body. The catalyst body consists of a perforated metal foil. In a preferred embodiment, the perforations of the perforated metal foil are adjusted for sound reduction in such a way that the metal foil simultaneously assumes the function of a conventional reflection body. In a further preferred embodiment of the metal foil forming the catalyst body, webs for stiffening the metal foil are arranged between the perforations, which webs are adapted in such a way that they prevent any bulging of the metal foil in the installed state. In a further preferred embodiment, the ends of the metal foil are joined in a detachable interlocking connection. For producing the catalyst body in accordance with the invention, the catalyst body is bent in an annular way from a perforated metal foil strip.

  • Publication number: 20040043899
Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention relates to a metal foil with an embossed structure for use in the purification of exhaust gas as well as to a tool and a method for its production. In the direction of the main flow, the metal foil has alternating peaks with ascending flanks and descending flanks and valleys, with the peaks and valleys being divided into rows parallel to the direction of the main flow and with the peaks and valleys of adjacent rows being staggered in the direction of the main flow in such a way that the ascending flanks and the descending flanks of the staggered peaks form a trough which connects the staggered valleys. The troughs located in the region of the ascending flanks and descending flanks form irregular zones of disturbance and warps which render the exhaust gas turbulent and make it come into contact with the surface.

  • Patent number: 6321170
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for forming output signals of an interference current monitor or of a state monitor of an electrical rail vehicle with current being drawn from a power grid, and optionally a current also being delivered back into said power grid, via a current collector. In the case of a state monitor, not only interference currents but also further fault states are identified and signaled. The method steps include detection by measurement and digitization of the vehicle current flowing via the current collector or of other measurement quantities which make it possible to infer vehicle states which leads to interference currents, and digital processing of these measured values with determination of the spectral density of interference currents or of interference values of the other measurement quantities, a multistage system of response thresholds being used in order to evaluate the spectral density.
