Abstract: A method of refrigerating a product by a refrigeration machine, including a source of supply of refrigerant fluid, a conduit to evacuate the refrigerant fluid, and a refrigeration chamber to receive the product to be refrigerated. The product is contained in a container disposed in the refrigeration chamber. The method involves an operation of refrigerating the refrigeration chamber by the refrigerant fluid and evacuating the refrigerant fluid by the conduit, wherein the container is in direct contact with the refrigerant fluid.

Abstract: The device is for suppressing snoring and apnoea during sleep. It is placed in the oro-pharynx and at the buccal cavity region during sleep. It comprises a flexible tube (1) arciform and transversally flattened, of adapted anatomical design, for being placed between the tongue (13) and the soft palate (15), down to at least the base of the tongue (14). A filter (2) is fixed to the external end of this tube. The filter can be removable. Thus, the air breathed in (10) moves freely from outside up to the larynx, without snoring or apnoea. A fixing system (24) is provided so that the tube is maintained well inside the mouth during sleep.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cement which may be used for the fixation of osseous prostheses. This cement is obtained by hardening of a mixture comprising:(a) at least one epoxide resin having a high reactivity and a very low toxicity, consisting of a diepoxide of a glycidyl ether of bisphenol A;(b) a reactive, non-toxic suppling resin, consisting preferably of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene;(c) a mineral filler in powder form;(d) a hardener capable of reacting with said epoxide resin to effect hardening thereof, and(e) a hardening accelerator.The invention is more particularly applicable to the fixation of hip prostheses.
