  • Patent number: 9207028
Abstract: An ammunition magazine provides one or more rounds to a firearm, and can include a housing defining an ammunition cavity and an ammunition aperture, a follower disposed within the ammunition cavity, a first constant force extension spring, and a second spring. A follower can include a follower wall defining at least one extension spring cavity, within which the first constant force extension spring is disposed. The second spring is disposed between the follower and a bottom housing wall. The first constant force extension spring and second spring bias the follower towards an upper part of the housing to facilitate ejection of rounds via the ammunition aperture.

  • Publication number: 20150343841
Abstract: A roller riveting assembled hub bearing unit, the inner ring (2) of which has a radially elevated region for resolving production problems during the roller riveting process. For such a hub bearing unit, an optimal sensor arrangement, such as that required for rotational speed detection for example, is to be provided without having to accept disadvantages with rotational speed detection, sealing and strength optimization of the inner ring (2). A signal emitter (5) is arranged axially flush in a flat manner on the side of the vehicle on a higher area of the inner ring (2). A cover (8) axially covers the wheel hub (18) on the vehicle side. The detection of the movement of the signal emitter (5) takes place in the axial direction through the cover (8). To accommodate the sensor, the cover (8) comprises a protrusion (15) which is axially opposite the signal emitter (5), which can be arranged radially within the outer ring (3) either partially or completely.

  • Patent number: 8560196
Abstract: A mounting device for mounting a driven and/or a drivable wheel of a vehicle. The mounting device makes it possible to measure a drive torque or a drag torque that acts between a wheel and a driveshaft. The torque is transmitted from the driveshaft to the wheel by radial teeth on a bearing inner ring where there is a pressure-sensitive measuring element to measure axial forces as a characteristic of the particular effective torque. In addition, a device to control the distribution of the drive and drag torques acting on the driveable wheels of a vehicle is disclosed. To measure the drive and drag torque distribution, there is a sensor unit on each drivable wheel to measure the torque acting on each wheel.

  • Patent number: 8399529
Abstract: For processing of noble metal-containing, moist recycling materials with an unknown noble metal content (hereinafter called “batch”), a moisture-binding agent is added for homogenisation and the batch is mixed with comminution of optionally pre-sent agglomerates to form a free-flowing and homogenous powder. Optionally, the following takes place subsequently for analysis: A at least one representative, volume-reduced sample is taken first of all, B the sample is dried, C the sample is optionally divided further and D the sample is analyzed and the noble metal content of the batch is calculated on the basis of the data a previously known or pre-calculated quantity of the moisture-binding agent being added before sampling (step A).
