  • Patent number: 10328756
Abstract: A method for detecting a displacement of a motor vehicle including a plurality of wheels each including a tire inflated by inflation gases, includes the steps of: periodically measuring (E1), at a standby frequency, the temperature of the inflation gases of the tire, comparing (E2) the values measured over a predetermined time interval for detecting movement of the vehicle, detecting (E3) a movement of the vehicle when the temperature of the inflation gases of the tire increases by at least a first predetermined temperature value during the predetermined time interval for detecting movement of the vehicle, and periodically measuring (E4), at an activation frequency higher than the standby frequency, the temperature of the inflation gases of the tire when a movement of the vehicle has been detected.
