Abstract: The book consists, in a conventional way, of a series of pages, each one of them being formed by two plates of hard cardboard and an intermediate layer made of rubber foam. The cardboard plate (1) of the front side and the cardboard plate (1?) of the reverse side respectively incorporate slots (3, 3?), that describe a trajectory with the shape of an “L”, or any other appropriate trajectory. The slots (3, 3?) are intended to allow the children to introduce their fingers and move a cursor (4) that slips through a slot (5) in the rubber foam layer (2), thus making an itinerary or path for the cursor (4), that can be followed with the finger of the child through the path created by such slot (5) of the rubber foam layer (2).

Abstract: A book binding device is provided for use with children's books consisting of a plurality of plates that can be made of a foam rubber-like material, where such plates are joined together by means of cardboard or paper sheets glued to one of the sides of such sheets that incorporate the motifs of the book, such as legends, drawings, etc. The whole book is reinforced by means of a spine consisting of two or three layers, an intermediate cloth layer, which, is the reinforcing means, and one or two outer layers, the first one of them, if any, or the cloth itself being used to fix the spine to the book, while the outer paper sheet has been silk printed with the appropriate motifs to determine the outer face of the spine on the book.

Abstract: A children's musical book includes an electronic audio circuit which is able to generate music or any other type of sound. It includes a back cover (3) of considerable thickness in which there is a hollow (6) of dimensions that make it suitable for holding the electronic audio circuit (7) together with its keypad (8), battery (9), loudspeaker (10) and wiring (11), while both surfaces of the back cover (3) are covered by sheets of cardboard (15), so that the circuit occupies the minimum space and is perfectly protected within the back cover. Additionally, the back cover, cover and inside pages are composed of a central core of foam rubber (4, 4?), which is covered on both sides by the said sheets of cardboard (5), the free edges of which are tucked in respecting the edge of the foam rubber core that are likewise free, these latter being those on which manual contact takes place during normal usage of the book.

The first center page is then mounted on one of the front and rear cover pages and the connection portion of the first binding sheet is connected to an adjacent center page. The connection portion of the another binding sheet is then connected to the other of the front and rear cover pages and the front, rear and center pages are thus bound in book format.

The engagement loop section engages one end of the first cord loop, the one end of the first cord loop passing through the engagement loop section such that the first cord loop is intertwined with the second cord loop and thus the first and second cord loops cooperate to generally prevent access to the interior of a hinged object on which the first and second cord loops are mounted.

Abstract: A book with improved binding includes a front cover page having at least one binding hole extending therethrough, a rear cover page having at least one binding hole extending therethrough and at least one center page having at least one binding hole extending therethrough which is positioned between the front and rear cover pages. Each of the front, rear and center pages are constructed of foam material and the invention includes at least one binding cord which extends through each of the binding holes of the front cover page, rear cover page and center pages for binding the pages to one another in book format.
