  • Publication number: 20240190422
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining a drivable path for a vehicle during a ride includes obtaining sensor data. The sensor data indicates a perceived obstacle associated with a geographical location. The method includes retrieving, from a data storage, data associated with the perceived obstacle. The data includes a confidence score. The method includes, in response to the confidence score being above a threshold, determining the perceived obstacle as overdrivable for the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11763539
Abstract: A method for providing information related to an external object in a field of view of a driver of a vehicle comprises that the driver is monitored by a camera system, and that an estimated eye position is identified based on data provided by the camera system. Spatial information is gathered for at least one external object outside the vehicle. A basic display location is determined for a visual output related to the external object based on the spatial information. At least one imminent or instantaneous disturbance event for the vehicle is detected. An eye position correction and/or a display location correction are determined in response to the imminent or instantaneous disturbance event. The visual output related to the external object is generated based on the estimated eye position and the basic display location and based on the eye position correction and/or the display location correction.

  • Publication number: 20230067751
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a computer-implemented method for controlling a vehicle. In aspects, the computer-implemented method includes acquiring sensor data from a sensor, determining first processed data related to a first area around the vehicle based on the sensor data using a machine-learning method, and determining second processed data related to a second area around the vehicle based on the sensor data using a conventional method. The second area may include a subarea of the first area. In addition, the computer-implemented method includes controlling the vehicle based on the first processed data and the second processed data.

  • Publication number: 20230003869
Abstract: A computer implemented method for radar data processing includes the following steps carried out by computer hardware components: acquiring radar data from a radar sensor mounted on a vehicle; determining at least one of a speed of the vehicle or a steering wheel angle of the vehicle; and determining a subset of the radar data for processing based on the at least one of the speed of the vehicle or the steering wheel angle of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20220188704
Abstract: A method and computing device are disclosed herein for managing a machine learning (ML) environment, the method comprising receiving, by a ML controller, ML model information from a ML application, the ML model information comprising a ML model definition and ML model metadata comprising information specifying a ML runtime to execute a ML model; and generating, by the ML controller, a model runner instance in an abstraction layer at the ML controller using the received ML model information, the model runner instance being configured to interact with the specified ML runtime hosted by a target ML platform to cause the ML runtime to execute the ML model.

  • Publication number: 20220036193
Abstract: A computer implemented method for reducing the complexity of a computational network comprises the following steps carried out by computer hardware components: determining computational complexity of at least one portion of the computational network; determining an effect of a reduction of a complexity of the computational network on an output of the computational network; and determining how to reduce the complexity of the computational network based on the determined computational complexity and based on the effect.
