  • Publication number: 20230054355
Abstract: In a device and method for determining a contact between a tool and a workpiece, which are displaceable relative to each other, the tool or workpiece being rotationally fixedly connected to a shaft, the device includes a measuring arrangement including a measuring scale rotationally fixedly disposed on the shaft and at least one position encoder disposed in a stationary manner relative to the shaft, and a processing device. The position encoder is adapted to scan the measuring scale and to generate position values indicating a position of the shaft. The position values are fed to the processing device, which determines contact between the tool and the workpiece by evaluating a progression of the position values and signals the result of the evaluation by the status of a displacement signal.

  • Patent number: 10745027
Abstract: A viewing system (100) for a vehicle (10, 10A, 10B, 10C) having at least one capture unit (20A, 20B) adapted to capture at least one first near area (1, 2, 3, 4) around the vehicle (10, 10A, 10B, 10C), at least one control unit (30) adapted to process the data captured by the capture unit (20A, 20B) and at least one reproduction unit (40A, 40B) adapted to show the near area (1, 2, 3, 4) visibly for a driver which steers the vehicle (10, 10A, 10B, 10C). During driving maneuvers conditioned by the situation, in addition, at least one collision area (K1, K2) which comprises an area at risk of collision around the vehicle (10, 10A, 10B, 10C) is shown on the reproduction unit (40A, 40B). The collision area (K1, K2) corresponds to an image section of a near area (1, 2, 3, 4) captured by the capture unit around the vehicle (10, 10A, 10B, 10C).

  • Patent number: 8807511
Abstract: A fastening system for add-on parts to vehicles allows the add-on parts to be easily installed and removed. The fastening system includes a connection part that lies against the vehicle and the add-on part, which includes a base. The connection part is designed as a profiled element whose outer surface corresponds to the outer surface of a prism having a cross section of a regular polygon with at least one interior angle deviating from 90°. The base has a trapezoidal groove with opposing surfaces on opposing sides of a base surface that are arranged at an angle from each other. The two opposing surfaces lie flush with wiggle-free engagement against two lateral surfaces of the connection part. A hole extends through the base symmetrically with respect to the groove. A connecting element is inserted through an opening in the base and engages in a receptacle of the connection part.
