  • Patent number: 9539747
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for processing liquid, light-activatable silicone materials of low viscosity by way of injection-molding technology, and an injection-molding machine operating in accordance with the method, in which the cross-linking of the silicone material is activated by the effect of ultraviolet and/or visible radiation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 4, 2013
Date of Patent: January 10, 2017
Assignee: ELAST KUNSTSOFFVERABEITUNGS-GMBH & CO. KEG
Inventors: Kurt Manigatter, Karl Adlesgruber, Paul Fattinger, Christian Reslhuber
  • Patent number: 9364984
Abstract: A method for simultaneously producing several injection-molded parts. A mold is provided comprising a plurality of molding plates fluidically connected to each other and which combine form a plurality of mold cavities defining the contour of a finished injection-molded product. A material such as a plastic material is injected via an injection nozzle into one of the mold cavities such that the material flows successively through the mold cavities from one mold cavity to an adjacent mold cavity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 22, 2012
Date of Patent: June 14, 2016
Assignee: ELAST KUNSTSTOFFVERARBEITUNGS-GMBH & CO. KEG

  • Patent number: 7211213
Abstract: The present invention relates to an injection-molding nozzle system for injection-molding systems for plastic materials which is equipped with a needle sealing system and is suitable both for different cavities as well as for plastic materials of different viscosities, with the injection-molding nozzle comprising a temperable nozzle body with nozzle tip comprising an outlet opening and an inlet opening for the plastic mass, as well as a needle which is arranged in the nozzle body and is displaceable in an axially longitudinal manner and with an actuating apparatus for actuating the needle which is axially displaceable in the nozzle body in the longitudinal direction. The opening stroke of the needle which is axially displaceable in the longitudinal direction can be adjusted by way of a stroke limiter, and the needle tip comprises at least one notch for the pass-through of the injection-molding mass in its transitional region to the needle shaft.
