  • Patent number: 8454225
Abstract: Device for electromechanical watch (1) allowing an electronic control circuit of the watch (1) movement to determine the moment at which and the direction in which an indication showing a magnitude of time has to be corrected, said device including a wheel (68), which is driven by the watch (1) movement and carries means (70, 72) for actuating first and second detection means (46a, 46b) connected to the electronic control circuit, said electronic control circuit deducing, from the moment at which and the order in which the first and second detection means (46a, 46b) are actuated by the means actuating the wheel (68) driven by the watch (1) movement, the direction in which the wheel (68) is being driven by the movement at the moment when the magnitude of time has to be respectively incremented or decremented.

  • Patent number: 7386389
Abstract: A method and a system for ascertaining the driving situation of a motor vehicle by using data provided in the vehicle indicating the value of at least one state variable of the vehicle are provided. To relieve the burden on the driver a data record providing the history of the at least one state variable is supplied. In a neural network in the motor vehicle is supplied by a suitably programmed computer. The neural network has at least one input layer and one output layer, each of the layers having a plurality of perceptrons. The respective value of the at least one state variable of the respective point in time, preferably a normalized value, is supplied to a perceptron of the neural network. After the neural network has been trained, the current driving situation is output by the perceptrons of the output layer of the neural network.

  • Publication number: 20040196809
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for carrying out a handover of a mobile terminal in a data transmission system. In the down-link direction (DL) of data exchange from the data transmission system to the mobile terminal (MT) the data (Data1, Data2) to be transmitted are forwarded in parallel to a plurality of data memories (P-RM, S-RM) within the data transmission system. Before handover (HO) takes place, data exchange is carried out by means of a first data memory (P-RM-DB2) and after handover by means of a second data memory (P-RM-DB3).
