  • Patent number: 10593108
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for more efficiently and quickly utilizing digital aerial images to generate models of a site. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods capture a plurality of digital aerial images of a site. Moreover, the disclosed systems and methods can cluster the plurality of digital aerial images based on a variety of factors, such as visual contents, capture position, or capture time of the digital aerial images. Moreover, the disclosed systems and methods can analyze the clusters independently (i.e., in parallel) to generate cluster models. Further, the disclosed systems and methods can merge the cluster models to generate a model of the site.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 31, 2017
Date of Patent: March 17, 2020
    Assignee: Skycatch, Inc.
Inventors: Manlio Francisco Barajas Hernandez, David Chen, Pablo Arturo Martinez Gonzalez, Christian Sanz

  • Patent number: 9499265
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for autonomously landing an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In particular, systems and methods described herein enable a UAV to land within and interface with a UAV ground station (UAVGS). In particular, one or more embodiments described herein include systems and methods that enable a UAV to conveniently interface with and land within a UAV ground station (UAVGS). For example, one or more embodiments include a UAV that includes a landing base and landing frame that interfaces with a landing housing of a UAVGS.

  • Patent number: 9429953
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for enabling autonomous landing of an unmanned aerial vehicle. For example, systems and methods described herein enable autonomous landing of the unmanned aerial vehicle by providing an unmanned aerial vehicle ground station with various guidance systems for guiding the autonomous landing. In some embodiments, the guidance systems enable autonomous landing by providing one or more LEDs. In other embodiments, the guidance systems enable autonomous landing by providing various types of transmitted energy waves. In at least one embodiment, the guidance systems enable autonomous landing by providing a two-stage landing system that includes two or more types of transmitted energy.

  • Patent number: 9389084
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for identifying changes to a target site based on aerial images of the target site. For example, systems and methods described herein generate representations of the target site based on aerial photographs provided by an unmanned aerial vehicle. In one or more embodiments, systems and method described herein identify differences between the generated representations in order to detect changes that have occurred at the target site.

  • Patent number: 6163959
Abstract: A method of reducing the gap between a liner and a turbine distributor of a turbojet engine. The method allows for the improvement of the seal on the inside of the distributor of the high pressure turbine at the lower platform. The method includes the steps of: applying a protective deposit to the lower part of the external surface of the liner, before carrying out a filling by diffusion brazing between the liner and the distributor. The protective deposit, preferably a anti-adherent ceramic, makes it possible for the braze to avoid fixing the liner onto the distributor at the lower platform level. The method also has applications to turbojet engines.
