  • Patent number: 8087286
Abstract: In a method for checking the permeability rate of a closed container (3) with respect to a medium, in particular for checking the permeability rate of a film-type container for accommodating a film container for accommodating a pharmaceutical active constituent formulation, the container (3) is filled with a medium, charged with a gas, and the increase in the amount of medium in the gas is then analysed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 24, 2006
Date of Patent: January 3, 2012
    Assignee: Boehringer Ingelheim International, GmbH
Inventors: Daniela Bothe, Hubert Hoelz, Christoph Kreher, Burkhard Metzger, Christian Scheffler
  • Patent number: 7607737
Abstract: An inclination adjustment fitting for seat backs of vehicle seats includes two fitting parts that are connected in a swiveling manner relative to each other via a wobble mechanism driven by an eccentric. The eccentric is formed from an eccentric ring and two wedge segments that are arranged in mirror image and set apart from each other and that in regions cover the circumference of the eccentric ring. The wedge segments are pressed apart by a spring acting against their one end faces for increasing the eccentricity and which are capable of being acted upon against the force of the spring by driving elements between the other end faces. The spring is supported on the eccentric such that the wedge segments occupy a defined position relative to the eccentric ring.

  • Patent number: 7453556
Abstract: The measurement of the particle size distribution of an aerosol is of crucial importance in pharmaceutical development. A prerequisite for this is a valid method, e.g. the cascade impactor method described in the pharmacopoeias. It requires measurement of the active substance concentration in order to determine the particle size distribution. The invention provides a process which makes it possible to measure the size of aerosol droplets containing pharmaceutical substances which are unstable in the event of changes in the pH.

Date of Patent: November 18, 2008
    Assignee: Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH
