  • Patent number: 11945210
Abstract: A device for mounting a roller cover on a roller with a pair of tensioning rails has a plurality of identical tensioning units, which are arranged on a common pivoting beam and the partial rails of which jointly form the second tensioning rail of the tensioning rail pair, wherein said tensioning units respectively comprise a first lock assigned to the first tensioning rail and a second lock assigned to the respective partial rail, and wherein the locks selectively hold or release the roller cover.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 2, 2024
Assignee: Kolbus GmbH & Co. KG

  • Publication number: 20220258283
Abstract: A tailored welded blank produced from at least two blank parts, where at least one is a press-hardenable manganese-boron steel and at least one has a coating of aluminum or an aluminum-based alloy. The parts are welded by laser-beam welding or hybrid laser/gas-metal-arc welding, while retaining the coating, using shielding gas and a filler wire having in % by weight: C: 0.41 to 0.9; Si: 0.4 to 4; Mn: 0.4 to 3; optionally Cr: 0 to 10; and with optional alloying of one or more of: Mo: 0.01 to 1.0; B: 0.0008 to 0.0040; Ti: 2.5×B<=Ti<=5×B; V: 0.01 to 0.4; Nb: 0.01 to 0.2; W: 0.01 to 0.2; the remainder Fe and unavoidable impurities. The high proportion of C and Cr or additionally or alternatively of Mo, V, Nb and/or W enables hardening by carbide formation in a weld-seam region after welding.

  • Patent number: 9849666
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a device for producing printed products comprising an arrangement of cooperating rollers that are arranged parallel to one another, wherein at least the gap width between the rollers of one roller pair is adjustable. For this purpose, one roller of the pair is pivotably mounted by means of a pivot arm, wherein a driver arranged on the pivot arm displaces a linearly movable reference element by means of a sliding block guide such that the position of this reference element corresponds to the adjusted gap width. The sliding block guide is preferably realized in such a way that the gap width and the position of the reference element are proportionally correlated.

  • Publication number: 20090155022
Abstract: A perfect-binding machine (1.1, 1.2), has a main transport system (11.1, 11.2) with revolving clamps (12, 13) and a feeder (21.1, 21.2) including a transporter (22) with pushers (25), a support (26) for the upright book blocks (2) in the spine region, and lateral guides (27). The drive (28) for the transporter is controlled in accordance with the position of the clamps such that an assigned pusher (25) moves aligned in a defined position relative to the corresponding clamp immediately before and/or during the closing of this clamp (12, 13). The book blocks (2) are fed to the respective clamps in an aligned fashion such that the transfer and the alignment of the book blocks on book stop catches on the clamps can be eliminated. Book blocks (2) can be fed to the book block clamps (12, 13) in such a way that they are clamped centrally (M).
