  • Publication number: 20150252840
Abstract: A bearing lubricated with a medium, particularly a roller bearing or sliding bearing, including two bearing rings (1, 2) and a bearing path (3, 4) arranged on each of these bearing rings (1, 2), and a sacrificial anode (6) that is associated with at least one of the two bearing rings (1). The problem addressed is that of providing a bearing lubricated with a medium and including a sacrificial anode, the operational behavior of the bearing being only slightly influenced by the sacrificial anode. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the sacrificial anode (6) is arranged outside of the bearing interior (7) which is formed between the bearing rings (1, 2); and the sacrificial anode (6) is connected to the bearing interior (7) in an electrically-conductive manner.

  • Patent number: 8961030
Abstract: A bearing, including a bearing part, in particular a bearing ring (5, 6) having a cathodic corrosion prevention device. The aim of providing a bearing having a permanent, adjustable corrosion prevention device that requires only minor structural changes is achieved according to the invention in that the bearing part, in particular the bearing ring (5, 6), is connected as the cathode of an external power source, and that the anode (8, 10) of the external power source is arranged spaced apart from the bearing part, in particular the bearing ring (5, 6).
