  • Patent number: 11397136
Abstract: A steering force module on a vehicle test bench including a first main body and a transverse force actuator that is displaceable relative thereto. A transverse force being generated by a displacement of the transverse force actuator relative to the first main body, by means of which the transverse force can be applied to the steering system. Furthermore, a drivetrain module is present which consists of a second main body and a drive actuator that is rotatable relative thereto, the drive actuator being rotationally fixable by means of a second mechanical interface to a drive axle of the drivetrain, a torque that is independent of the transverse force being generated by a rotation of the drive actuator relative to the second main body is applied to the drive axle.

  • Publication number: 20210163029
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for analysing an automation system, in particular a driver assistance system in a vehicle, an emulator for at least partial virtual operation of an automation system of an installation, and a system for analysing an automation system of an installation. An environment scenario for the installation, in particular a traffic scenario, is simulated. A response signal to be detected by at least one environment sensor, in particular an ultrasound response signal, is derived from the perspective of the at least one environment sensor on the basis of the simulated environment scenario. The response signal is output to the at least one environment sensor by means of an emulator, wherein the at least one environment sensor generates sensor io data on the basis of the output response signal. In addition, the automation system and/or the installation are/is operated by means of the generated sensor data and preferably further sensor data of real and/or simulated sensors.

  • Patent number: 8612166
Abstract: A test bed for an electrical energy storage system for vehicles includes a test system for conducting electrical tests of the energy storage system, optionally at least one conditioning unit for the climate control of the energy storage system, at least one data collection and analysis system, and optionally at least one safety system. In order to be able to test energy storage systems in a manner approximating their use as closely as possible in that all real influences on the energy storage system, for example, a traction battery for electric or hybrid vehicles, can be simulated with the simultaneous interaction of thermal, electrical, and mechanical influencing factors without the need to conduct tests in a real-world environment, at least one actuator is additionally provided for the mechanical stimulation of the energy storage system.

  • Publication number: 20110153239
Abstract: A test bed for electrical energy storage systems for vehicles, in particular for traction batteries for hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, and electric vehicles is equipped with a test system (3) for conducting electrical tests of the energy storage system (1), optionally at least one conditioning unit (4) for the climate control of the energy storage system (1), at least one data collection and analysis system, and optionally at least one safety system. In order to be able to test energy storage systems in a manner approximating their use as closely as possible in that all real influences on the energy storage system, for example, a traction battery for electric or hybrid vehicles, can be simulated with the simultaneous interaction of thermal, electrical, and mechanical influencing factors without the need to conduct tests in a real-world environment, at least one actuator (5) is additionally provided for the mechanical stimulation of the energy storage system (1).
