  • Patent number: 12237793
Abstract: A drive system includes a frequency converter, a drive unit, and a power supply. The drive unit includes an electric motor and a further component, including a sensor element, actuator element, and/or data storage element. The frequency converter supplies the further component of the drive unit with energy via at least the power supply. The frequency converter is adapted to obtain a first piece of information about the maximum available electrical energy of the power supply and to obtain a second piece of information about the electrical energy requirement of the further component of the drive unit. The frequency converter is adapted to check the plausibility of the first piece of information with respect to the second piece of information. The decision-making criterion for the plausibility check is formed by a logical comparison of the first piece of information with the second piece of information.

  • Patent number: 11824531
Abstract: In a switching device and a system for converting a differential input signal into a ground-referenced output signal using a control signal, error states are detected, and detected error states lead to the deactivation of the ground-referenced output signal and are indicated on the control signal in addition.

  • Patent number: 11366905
Abstract: A security device includes at least one non-volatile memory element and a key memory having at least one non-volatile memory element including at least one data field. The security device provides a physical interface for the data exchange with a key memory, the range of the physical interface being spatially restricted, and the key memory being location-bound. The security device includes at least one calculation unit, which dynamically ascertains in particular the check-sum information from the parameter data record.

  • Patent number: 10795849
Abstract: A system of automation components, having a control unit, having a memory area which includes a parameter data record, and a key memory, which is able to be connected to the control unit via an unambiguously allocatable, electrically conductive connection. The key memory is location-bound, in particular able to be spatially fixedly allocatable to a specific point in a system as a whole, the key memory having at least one non-volatile memory area, including an unambiguous item of identifying information. The control unit is able to read out the identifying information. The system also includes an external data memory, which is able to be directly accessed, and data is able to be exchanged between the control unit and the external data memory.
