  • Patent number: 11860005
Abstract: The position detector of an object includes a body defining an input receiving an optical fibre delivering a light signal, and an output delivering a signal representative of the position of the object. A mirror is mounted to move between first and second positions in the body with respect to the input. The first position or the second position ensures transmission of the light signal from the input to the output. The other of the first position and the second position prevents transmission of the light signal to the output. A spring is mounted in the body in order to place the mirror in the first position. A tip is movable relative to the body between a first position and a second position along a direction of movement and is intended to cooperate with the object to be monitored.

  • Patent number: 10547919
Abstract: The Ethernet switch for an optic fiber network includes: a first light emitter designed to transmit a light signal in the optic fiber, first photodetector configured to transform a light signal coming from the optic fiber into an electric signal, at least one communication port of electric signals with a terminal, a power supply circuit configured to supply power to the light emitter and to the first photodetector, a wake-up circuit connected to the first photodetector and to the communication port configured to generate an electric wake-up signal on receipt of a light signal by the first photodetector and/or of an electric signal on the communication port, the wake-up circuit being connected to the power supply circuit to trigger power supply of the first light emitter and of the communication port.

  • Publication number: 20030011845
Abstract: The invention concerns a wavelength multiplexing optical fiber transmission device comprising multiplexing means with optical combiner (16) consisting of a series of n optical couplers CO1, CO2, CO7 with asymmetric cascade distribution over several stages A, B, C for combining the optical signals received from the optical transmitters (14) of different wavelengths (&lgr;1 to &lgr;8). The last coupler CO7 routes the multiplexed optical signals to a main transmission line (18) and a standby transmission line (20). The coupling ratio of the various couplers is adjusted at the channels to compensate spectral gain variation of the optical amplifier (26), which is arranged on the receiver side before the optical demultiplexer (28). The invention is applicable to metropolitan area telecommunication networks.
