  • Publication number: 20060117622
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of generating an advertisement print comprising advertisement information, where the advertisement print is adapted for being positioned on a surface of a substantially plane print carrier, where the substantially plane print carrier has a predefined surface area. The method comprises the step of projecting the predefined surface area to a plane perpendicular to a line of sight between a predefined viewpoint and the print carrier, placing the advertisement information within boundaries of the projected predefined surface area and generating the advertisement print by graphically transforming the projected predefined surface area together with the advertisement information to an area similar to the predefined surface area of the substantially plane print carrier. The invention further relates to an advertisement print being printed on a substantially plane print carrier.

  • Publication number: 20060059739
Abstract: The invention relates to an advertisement print being printed on a print carrier. The print illustrates a transformation of a three-dimensional element, where the print is optimized for a viewer having two viewpoints, a first viewpoint and a second viewpoint being placed on each side of a central fictive viewpoint. The print comprises a right side being a perspective projection of said three-dimensional element to said print carrier, where the projection is optimized to the firt viewpoint. Further, the print comprises a left side being a perspective projection of the three-dimensional element to the print carrier, where the projection is optimized to the second viewpoint.

  • Publication number: 20040117359
Abstract: Time-referenced data are pervasive in most real-world databases. Recent advances in temporal query languages show that such database applications may benefit substantially from built-in temporal support in the DBMS. To achieve this, temporal query optimization and evaluation mechanisms must be provided, either within the DBMS proper or as a source level translation from temporal queries to conventional SQL. This invention proposes a new approach: using a middleware component on top of a conventional DBMS. This component accepts temporal SQL statements and produces a corresponding query plan consisting of algebraic as well as regular SQL parts. The algebraic parts are processed by the middleware, while the SQL parts are processed by the DBMS. The middleware uses performance feedback from the DBMS to adapt its partitioning of subsequent queries into middleware and DBMS parts.

  • Publication number: 20030173772
Abstract: This invention relates to an advertisement print being printed on a substantially plane print carrier. The print is a transformation of a chosen three-dimensional geometrical element having a number of visible sides defined by at least a first viewpoint and a second viewpoint. The sides are combined and the print can optimally be viewed from two different viewpoints, even though they are pointing in opposite directions. The invention is e.g. especially advantageous in cricket games and the like, where the game is typically broadcasted using two or more main cameras pointing in substantially opposite directions.
