  • Publication number: 20240192677
Abstract: The invention relates to a system (1) for the automatic detection of a state of a device (2), comprising: a signal acquisition means (10) for acquiring defective measurement data (D) of a physical variable characterising the device (2); and an analysis unit (11) for identifying a specified pattern (M) in the measurement data (D) acquired by the signal acquisition means (10).

  • Patent number: 11611271
Abstract: An electric machine includes a rotor, a stator, and an air gap formed between a magnetic device of the rotor and the stator. For the selective setting of the air gap, movement devices implemented by piezoelectric stacks are provided on the rotor and/or on the stator. The movement devices may influence radial positions of the respective magnetic device and thus set the radial air gap width. It is thereby possible to exert open-loop and/or closed-loop control over a power or torque of the electric machine without adjusting stator currents. Vibration or unbalance of the rotor may also be counteracted quickly and effectively during operation of the machine.

  • Patent number: 11550822
Abstract: The invention relates to a processing, i.e. storing and analyzing, of measurement data. In order to store the measurement data, respective data units or data sets are created for sampling points, a plurality of measurement data temporally adjacent to the sampling-point measurement datum being stored within the data unit. A time interval between time values of the sampling-point measurement data of two consecutive data units at least is set approximately to a multiple of a sampling time interval, i.e. of a reciprocal of the measurement-value recording rate or sampling rate. The method according to the invention reduces the provision of data units because an individual data unit contains, in addition to a sampling-point measurement date, further measurement data temporally adjacent to the sampling-point measurement date.

  • Patent number: 11336219
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electric machine and in particular to the monitoring of the electric machine for the presence of a fault, (e.g., in the stator windings). A monitoring unit is provided, wherein the monitoring unit measures the multiphase electrical time signals transmitted from or to the machine and with the aid of a Hilbert filter determines substantially in real time the envelopes and the phase positions of the individual phases of the time signal. The envelopes corresponding to the different phases or the corresponding phase positions are compared with one another by way of forming differences and, in the event that one or more of the differences deviate(s) from a specified expectation value, the presence of a fault is inferred. The approach allows significantly increased operational reliability of the electric machine to be achieved in particular.

  • Publication number: 20180113964
Abstract: A method is provided for computer-supported development of an overall system including subsystems. The subsystems include real products and virtual behavior models simulated in real-time, used in phases of the right branch of the V-model, including development steps “MIL,” “SIL” and “VPIL.” Each development step includes an environment model, a reusable multiphysics model and software. The development step “HIL” also includes another physics unit simulating parts of the hardware of a product that are only virtually present. The method provides a temporally parallel and spatially divided integration, and a corresponding test, of components on various levels (e.g., the right-hand branch of a V-model performed by the system developer). Open-loop and closed-loop control functions or processes for the overall system level may already be developed, even though all of the subsystems are not yet present. No parallel systems are required where new processes are run in advance.
