  • Publication number: 20160021437
Abstract: Embodiments of an integrated semiconductor component system are disclosed to solve both the interconnect bottleneck problem and the wiring problem simultaneously on the microscale of integrated semiconductor devices and on the macroscale of single computing systems consisting of integrated semiconductor devices by arranging single integrated semiconductor devices of an integrated semiconductor component system, or single integrated semiconductor component systems with the same distance from a center point in a geometric space. Furthermore, a working model to simulate entanglement of quantum based computing devices is provided.

  • Publication number: 20160014914
Abstract: A flexible housing for electronic devices mounted on or contained within the housing is disclosed that features a relatively simple but nonetheless elaborated and functional foldable means or joint means. Depending on the special way of construction, dimensions, and features of the joint means elements the flexible housing permits the folding of the housing even with a large curvature radius without putting pressure and stress on a flexible respectively bendable electronic device mounted on or contained within the housing, such as a flexible display device and a flexible computing device for example. Moreover, the flexible housing prevents to go below the maximum permissible curvature radius of an installed flexible respectively bendable electronic device. Therefore on the one hand stretching, compressing or even breaking an electronic device is avoided and on the other hand easier and safer ways to transport and store relatively large flexible electronic devices are given.

  • Publication number: 20160004085
Abstract: The useability and wearing comfort of a head-mounted display can be improved by providing an air conditioning device and a mechanism to control the temperature and humidity of the air surrounding the face of a wearer and of the face in correspondence to measurements of the properties of the air being in direct proximity to the user's head resulting in a reduction of the negative effects of wearing a head-mounted display device in general, and in particular in situations of increased physical activity of the user or/and in situations with changing properties of the surrounding air. In one example, a user can wear the head-mounted display device without having the facial skin producing extra moisture, and in this way without occurring condensation on a part of the head-mounted display device, specifically without fogging up the screen of the head-mounted display device.

  • Publication number: 20150189256
Abstract: An autostereoscopic multi-layer display device can reduce the amount of computing, processing, and transferring of data in relation with displaying a three-dimensional scene on the device and with creating, maintaining, and improving the perception of depth by providing a mechanism to control the display in correspondence with the movement of a user's feature and to reduce the negative effects of motion. In one example, a user can look on the display from different directions in one dimension without loosing the perception of depth conveyed by the device. If an autostereoscopic multi-layer display displaying the scene is able to detect the position and motion of a user with respect to the device, the control system of the device can update the viewpoint and viewing angle of a virtual camera of the rendering pipeline in response to the users's changed viewpoint or/and viewing angle on the displayed scene with respect to the device.
