    Abstract: A centrifugal fan (1) has a fan unit (10) with an impeller (11), a motor (12) for driving the impeller (11), and a support structure (13) for securing the fan unit (10) in the intended detachable manner to a flange plate with an intake opening (21, 22). The support structure (13) is designed to hold the fan unit (10) on the flange plate (21, 22) by itself. A plurality of air guide segments (23), that together form a downstream guide device (20), are secured to the support structure (13) and/or to the flange plate (21, 22).
