  • Patent number: 6295250
Abstract: A time-setting mechanism for a clock movement with perpetual Julian date comprising a device for driving a date indicator including driving means for moving forward said indicator by one jump every twenty-four hours. The movement has an adjusting device for automatically moving said indicator by a number of steps taking into account months with 28, 29 or 30 days, said device comprising a rotary cam driven by at least one step every twenty-four hours, said cam having a profile for steering a sensor bringing about: the oscillating movement of a moving mechanism provided with a pawl system for moving forward the date indicator by the required additional number of adjusting steps; and for moving forward said cam by a number of steps equal to the number of said indicator adjusting steps so as to make it move one complete cycle per year.

  • Patent number: 6203296
Abstract: A miniature peristaltic pump includes a rotor with three turning rollers, a support piece with a rounded portion arranged substantially concentric to the rotor and against which, when operating, the rollers are brought to compress a flexible tubing connected to a reservoir of solution to push it outwards and for automatically compensating positional deviations between the roller and the support piece. Each roller has a substantially cylindrical body and a shaft on which the body is rotatably mounted. The ends of the roller shafts are located in oblong slots radially recessed in the rotor. The compensating device includes two springs arranged at the respective ends of the shafts and have a central port concentric to the rotor and three curved spring arms, one for each roller, with one end connected to the central part and the other end bearing on the corresponding end of a roller shaft to push it outwards and thus enable it to exert a substantially constant force of pressure.

  • Patent number: 6118734
Abstract: A train of clockwork with perpetual Julian date, characterized in that it comprises an adjusting device for causing a date indicator (2) to carry out adjusting steps, for automatically taking into account months with 28, 29, or 30 days, said adjusting device comprising a rotating cam (26) driven at least one step every twenty-four hours, said cam (26) having an outline (28) for controlling a sensor (30) bringing about: the oscillating motion of a mobile element (32) provided with a click spring system (34), for moving forward the date indicator (2) by the required supplementary step(s), and the forward movement of said cam (26) for causing it to make the number of steps equal to the number of adjusting steps of said indicator (2) for carrying out one complete round every year.

  • Patent number: 6109895
Abstract: The invention concerns a peristaltic pump comprising a rotor (109) provided with three turning rollers (110), means for driving the rotor, a support piece with a rounded portion arranged substantially concentric to the rotor and against which the rollers, when operating, come to compress a flexible pipe connected to a reservoir of liquid to push it outwards and means for turning said rotor by external means to air bleed the pipe. The rotor (109) is made of two concentric superposed parts the first (115) of which is coupled with drive means and the second (122, 123) bears the rollers. The rotor further comprises engaging-disengaging means (118, 120) whereby: when operating normally, its two parts co-operate for its rotation by its drive means; when it is rotated by external means, said parts are automatically disengaged. The invention is useful for subcutaneous or intravenous injection of medicinal solutions.
