  • Patent number: 12216178
Abstract: A fail-safe operating method for a decentralized power generation plant DG includes determining a leakage capacitance of a generator of the DG before connecting the DG. The method also includes comparing the determined leakage capacitance with a predetermined first limit value, and connecting the DG to a grid only if the determined leakage capacitance is smaller than the predetermined first limit value. A decentralized power generation plant is configured to perform the method.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 13, 2022
Date of Patent: February 4, 2025
    Assignee: SMA Solar Technology AG
Inventors: Michael Viotto, Martin Putz, Christian Tschendel

  • Patent number: 10027123
Abstract: In order to control a plurality of inverters, which are connected on their input side to a current source each and on their output side to a common grid connection point, electrical variables are measured at the individual inverters and are used for controlling the individual inverters, currents being output by the individual inverters depending on the electrical variables measured at the location of the individual inverters Effects of the connection equipment between the individual inverters and the common grid connection point on currents are determined, electrical variables being measured at the grid connection point and are set in relation to the electrical variables measured at the same time at the individual inverters. The connection equipment between the individual inverters and the common grid connection point is taken into consideration in controlling the individual inverters.

  • Publication number: 20110298720
Abstract: A method of operating a human-machine interface system is provided. The method includes displaying a plurality of objects on a display system, each of the plurality of objects displayed according to object parameters, and receiving touch information corresponding to a plurality of touches on the display system. The method also includes processing the touch information to identify which object of the plurality of objects was touched, and upon identifying the first object that was touched, processing the touch information to identify a first gesture represented by the plurality of touches. The method further includes upon identifying the first gesture, determining a first command based on the first gesture, generating first new parameters for the object based on the first command, and displaying at least the first object that was touched according to the first new parameters for the object.
