  • Publication number: 20240325273
Abstract: Composition comprising a specific combination of surfactants and a cationic polymer The present invention relates to an aqueous composition intended in particular for washing and/or conditioning keratin fibres, notably human keratin fibres such as the hair, and which comprises at least one anionic surfactant, the combination of at least two nonionic surfactants, different from one another, in a specific weight ratio, at least one amphoteric surfactant and at least one cationic polymer. The invention also relates to a method for the cosmetic treatment of keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, using said composition. The invention further relates to the use of said composition for washing and/or conditioning keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair.

  • Publication number: 20230165773
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for treating hair, which are particularly useful for repairing, strengthening, and protecting hair from damage. The methods include applying to the hair each of the following components, together, separately, or in any combination thereof, in one or more hair-treatment compositions: (a) at least one amino acid or amino sulfonic acid, and/or a salt thereof, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions in an amount of at least 0.5 wt. %; (b) at least one non-polymeric mono, di, or tricarboxylic acid, and/or a salt thereof, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions in an amount of at least 0.5 wt. %; and (c) at least one non-taurate surfactant, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions. Hair treated with the methods exhibit desirable cosmetic properties such as smoothness, gloss, improved combability, and improved strength and elasticity.

  • Publication number: 20180280267
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to kits and methods for treating hair. The kits and methods incorporate each of the following components, together, separately, or in any combination thereof, in one or more hair-treatment compositions, provided that each individual component is included in a hair-treatment composition of the kit or method: (a) at least one amino acid or amino sulfonic acid, and/or a salt thereof, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions in an amount of at least 0.5 wt. %; (b) a first non-polymeric mono, di, or tricarboxylic acid, and/or a salt thereof, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions in an amount of at least 0.5 wt. %; (c) a second non-polymeric mono, di, or tricarboxylic acid, and/or a salt thereof, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment composition in an amount of at least 0.5 wt.

  • Publication number: 20180280270
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to hair-treatment compositions, which are particularly useful for repairing, strengthening, and protecting hair from damage. The hair-treatment composition include at least 0.5 wt. % of at least one amino acid or amino sulfonic acid, and/or a salt thereof, and optionally, at least 0.5 wt. % of at least one non-polymeric mono, di, or tricarboxylic acid, and/or a salt thereof. Additional components such as surfactants and water may also be included. The unique components of the hair-treatment compositions restructure the hair fibers and result in the hair exhibiting improved properties such as increased hair fiber strength, better discipline, and more curl definition.
