  • Publication number: 20240099609
Abstract: An illustrative method includes determining a preliminary estimate of the patient's tinnitus tone by allowing the patient to listen to and vary frequency and intensity of a first test tone within a predetermined first frequency range and a predetermined first intensity range to approximate the first test tone to the patient's tinnitus tone; defining a second frequency range and a second intensity range around the preliminary estimate of the patient's tinnitus tone; and determining a final estimate of the patient's tinnitus tone by allowing the patient to listen to and vary frequency and intensity of a second test tone within the second frequency range and the second intensity range to approximate the second test tone to the patient's tinnitus tone.

  • Patent number: 11273440
Abstract: A separator separates a first from a second phase of a liquid in a tubular container. The separator has a float made of elastic material having a circumferential sealing edge and at least one ballast fastened to the underside of the float. The density of the ballast is greater than the density of the float and the density of the entire separator lies in a value range between the density of the first phase and the density of the second phase of the liquid. In order to securely prevent penetration of parts of the second phase of the liquid into the region above the separator within the tubular container, when the separator moves into the sealing position and is positioned there, the sealing edge of the float is formed at a predetermined distance greater than zero above the center of gravity of the entire separator.

  • Patent number: 11241686
Abstract: A separator for separating a first from a second phase of a liquid in a tubular container has an elastic float with a circular sealing edge for sealing engagement with the inside of the tubular container in a sealing position. At the underside of the float, a ballast is attached. The density of the ballast is greater than the density of the float and the density of the entire separator is in a range between the density of the first phase and the density of the second phase of the liquid. The float has a local constriction and, in the area of the constriction, a membrane.

  • Patent number: 11241685
Abstract: A separator for separating a first from a second phase of a liquid in a tubular container includes a float made of elastic material having a circumferential sealing edge and at least one ballast fastened to the underside of the float. The density of the ballast is greater than the density of the float and the density of the entire separator lies in a value range between the density of the first phase and the density of the second phase of the liquid. In order to ensure an unrestricted light inflow of the liquid into volume regions of the container lying below the separator in the initial position, the float is designed disk-shaped; and that the ballast is designed in the form of a plurality of fingers extending away from the underside of the disk-shaped float, distributed at its edge.

  • Patent number: 10938165
Abstract: An electric plug-in connector comprising: an electric contact structure accommodated in an enclosure; and a plugging cycle counter including a piezoelectric sensor mechanically connected to the contact structure and/or to the enclosure. The piezoelectric sensor senses joining of the electric contact structure to a corresponding electric contact structure.
