Publication number: 20230315753Abstract: In an approach, a processor receives a data manipulation request on a target database. A processor sends the data manipulation request to a source database. The source database attempts to persist a data manipulation action relating to the data manipulation request. Responsive to a successful attempt to persist the data manipulation action: the source database sends a log position of the data manipulation action to a data replication engine; a processor replicates the data manipulation request triggering the data manipulation action in the target database; and a processor confirms to the target database that the data manipulation action in the target database has been completed.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2022Publication date: October 5, 2023Inventors: Vassil Radkov Dimov, Eirini Kalogeiton, Jens Müller, Felix Beier, Christian Wilhelm Paul Hoerst, Johannes Severin Kern, Daniel Martin

Patent number: 11543550Abstract: Implementations for monitoring seismic data recorded in a marine survey of a subterranean formation for coverage gaps are described herein. Implementations include computing Fresnel sum operators for Fresnel zones of the subterranean formation based on a Kirchhoff migration impulse response at horizons of a representative plane layer model of a survey area of the subterranean formation. Implementations also include computing an acceptability map of the survey area based on the Fresnel sum operators. The acceptability map reveals coverage gaps in the survey area. Geoscientist may use the acceptability map to infill seismic data in areas of the survey area that correspond to the coverage gaps.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2020Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Assignee: PGS GEOPHYSICAL ASInventors: Christian Wilhelm Strand, Peter Ward

Patent number: 11310184Abstract: Methods are presented for classifying responses to communications. One method includes presenting, in a first user interface (UI), a message from a sender to a recipient requesting a response. The first UI includes response options of a first classification, a second classification, and an entry field for entering a free text message. Another operation is for receiving a recipient response with a selection of: (a) the first or the second button and (b) the free text message entered in the text entry field. The method further includes generating a featurized recipient response based on the free text message and the selection. An acceptance machine-learning (ML) model calculates a classification value of the recipient response from a set of possible classification values based on the featurized recipient response. The method further includes presenting, in a second UI for the sender, an indicator for the message and the calculated classification value.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2020Date of Patent: April 19, 2022Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Christian Wilhelm Kurt Byza, Jeffrey William Pasternack, Haowen Ning, Pujita Mathur, Yizhou Pan, Ngoc M. Publication number: 20220080071Abstract: We present an invention that enables autonomous disinfection robots to perform their duties significantly more autonomously than previously possible. Because disinfection mechanisms, such as UV-C light and chemical disinfectant mists, are harmful to humans, robots that provide such disinfection functionality in interior spaces require people to be kept out of the areas of disinfection. Human help is currently required for opening and closing doors for the robot to secure the space during disinfection. We describe a system and method for enabling robots to perform this task safely without human help. In one embodiment this is achieved by mounting a radio-controlled, motorized shade on the door-frame of the room to be disinfected, and enabling the robot to autonomously roll that shade up and down. The shade stops significant amounts of the dangerous UV-C light or chemical disinfectants from leaving the room, enabling a robot to disinfect multiple rooms without human help.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2021Publication date: March 17, 2022Inventors: Christian Wilhelm Fritz, Robert Steven Bauer

Patent number: 11199273Abstract: A respirator directional valve (10) includes a valve housing (12), a plurality of valve flaps (16-18), which can be moved by a gas stream or by a flowing medium and are arranged at the edge, and a number of support surfaces (20-22) as a valve seat. A number of support surfaces (20-22) corresponds to a number of valve flaps (16-18). Each valve flap (16-18) is adapted to a surface of a respective support surface (20-22). The support surfaces (20-22) are sloped in relation to a cross-sectional surface through the valve housing (12). The support surfaces (20-22) together form a tip pointing in the flow direction of the respirator directional valve (10). A method for manufacturing such a respirator directional valve (10) is provided including method features relating to the use of such a respirator directional valve (10).Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2020Date of Patent: December 14, 2021Assignee: Dräger Safety AG & Co.
