Abstract: A battery system includes a battery accommodating device and one or more battery units. The battery units can be inductively coupled to one another and/or to the battery accommodating device for charging and discharging. The battery accommodating device can be connected to an external electrical energy source and/or energy sink. The battery unit includes a coil unit and the battery accommodating device includes for each battery unit that can be accommodated in a storage seat with a coil unit, which can be coupled in a magnetically complementary manner, for toolless insertion and removal of a battery unit.
