Abstract: Methods for using SQL statements to access an application-server-managed database are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a user sends, either directly or indirectly (i.e., remotely) a SQL statement from an ODBC application or server, respectively, to an application server that preprocesses SQL statements for accessing data from a centralized database. The application server may have a SQL endpoint, and access to the SQL endpoint may be determined by a user's logon credentials, a user's presentation of a SAML token, or a user's presentation of a valid certificate. The application server may then parse the SQL statement and determine the user's authorization to access certain objects in the centralized database based on a SQL handler design-time configuration. A result from the statement may be sent back to the user either directly or indirectly and exposed.

Abstract: Phenoxyethylamine derivatives of general formula (I) having high affinity for the 5-HT1A receptor, methods for preparing same, pharmaceutical compositions containing said derivatives, and their use, in particular as gastric acid secretion inhibitors or as antiemetics, are disclosed. In general formula (I), Ar is phenyl substituted by one or more substituents; and R is a C1-10 hydrocarbon radical selected from straight or branched alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl radicals, saturated or unsaturated mono- or polycyclic cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl or alkylcycloalkyl radicals; a pyridyl or isoquinolyl radical, phenyl optionally substituted by one or more substituents, and salts thereof.

Abstract: This invention relates to thieno-triazolo-diazepine derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R represents various substituents, to a preparation process of these compounds consisting in reacting the thieno-triazolo-diazepine compound of the formula ##STR2## on RSO.sub.2 Cl and to therapeutic compositions containing the same. The compounds are particularly interesting as anti-PAF and anti-ischemic agents.
