  • Publication number: 20230125200
Abstract: A method of forming a composite component comprising a layer which consists at least partly of polyethylene, a layer which consists at least partly of a polyurethane and/or an elastomer, at least one layer which consists at least partly of a plastic reinforced by fibers, or which consists at least partly of an adhesive, wherein the layer is disposed directly between the layer and the layer, wherein the layers have been joined in a first operation to form a laminate composite and the layer have been joined in a second operation onto the laminate composite comprising the layers.

  • Publication number: 20210231099
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a wind power plant rotor blade is provided. A mold for manufacturing at least a part of the wind power plant rotor blade is prepared. The mold has a recess, which is used to manufacture at least a part of the wind power plant rotor blade. Liquid erosion protection material is introduced into the recess. Fiber layers are placed in the recess of the mold after the liquid erosion protection material has at least partially hardened. A vacuum infusion bag or a vacuum infusion film is placed, and a vacuum infusion is performed with a resin, so as to obtain a composite component at least as part of the wind power plant rotor blade.

  • Publication number: 20190263096
Abstract: A composite component comprising the following layer construction (a) a first layer consisting at least partially of polyethylene, (b) a second layer consisting at least partially of an elastomer, (c) a third layer consisting at least partially of a thermoset or a thermoplastic, wherein the first layer is arranged directly on the second layer and wherein the second layer is arranged directly on the third layer, and wherein a textile fabric with rovings is arranged between the second layer and the third layer such that some of the rovings are embedded at least in places completely in the second layer, some of the rovings are embedded at least in places completely in the third layer, and some of the rovings are embedded at least in places partially in the second layer and partially in the third layer.
