  • Patent number: 10721204
Abstract: An enterprise IoT concentrator can receive, from a first community IoT concentrator, first data corresponding to a security issue detected by at least one of a first plurality of devices located within a first physical environment, wherein the first plurality of devices are communicatively linked to one another within a first device domain that is a member of a first device community which includes the first community IoT concentrator. Responsive to receiving the first data, the enterprise IoT concentrator can process the first data to generate second data corresponding to the security issue. The second data can be configured to be processed by a second community IoT concentrator to initiate at least one device located within a second physical environment to perform a specific act that enhances security in the second physical environment. The enterprise IoT concentrator can communicate the second data to the second community IoT concentrator.

  • Patent number: 10621556
Abstract: Natural language processing is performed on social media system posts by a plurality of users of a reading community. Corresponding analytical data is generated. Respective interests of the plurality of users can be determined by processing the analytical data. A present location of at least two users of the reading community can be monitored. Responsive to determining that the users are presently located within a pre-determined distance of each other, respective alerts can be presented to those users. Each alert can indicate that the users are presently located within the pre-determined distance of each other, indicate a listing of content being read by the reading community, and indicate a shared interest of the users.

  • Publication number: 20160086510
Abstract: A movement activity is assessed in a movement assessment environment. A processor receives user movement data, captured by a sensor, of a user in the movement assessment environment. The processor receives a match request from the user, wherein the match request includes a request for an instructor that matches the user. The processor compares the user movement data of the user to a plurality of other movement data, wherein the plurality of other movement data includes at least one instructor movement data and at least one professional movement data. The processor determines, responsive to the comparing, a match between the user and an instructor, wherein the match is determined based at least in part on a similarity between the user movement data and at least one of the plurality of other movement data.

  • Publication number: 20150350152
Abstract: In an approach to managing messages received by a mobile computing device, a computer retrieves a plurality of settings associated with the mobile computing device, with at least one of the plurality of settings associating a characteristic of the mobile computing device with an indication to initiate message retrieval. The computer determines the characteristic of the mobile computing device and determines, based, at least in part, on the characteristic of the mobile computing device, whether the associated indication to initiate message retrieval is received. Responsive to determining the associated indication to initiate message retrieval is received, the computer retrieves at least one message received by the mobile computing device and transmits the at least one message to a user of the mobile computing device.
