    Abstract: A silicone resin composition is provided which includes a silicone resin such as a silicone elastomer and a particulate kaolin filler which has been pretreated with an amino- or vinyl-functionalized organosilane or organosiloxane. The treated particulate kaolin filler can be used as reinforcement for silicone resin replacing silica fillers typically used for reinforcement.
