Abstract: In one aspect, the disclosure relates to compounds effective in the treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis and extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis as well as drug-sensitive tuberculosis, methods of making the same, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same, and methods of treating bacterial infections caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis using the same. In an aspect, the compounds and pharmaceutical compositions are not cytotoxic.
