  • Publication number: 20250067013
Abstract: The present invention relates to means for substantially reducing evaporation from an open body of water comprising a plurality of domes which cover the surface of the water. The domes are hollow with a predetermined buoyancy for maximum surface coverage and self-stabilization without added weight, and are preferably made of transparent or translucent polycarbonate, high-density polyethylene, or acrylonitrile styrene acrylate, and also having a minimum light intensity of 2700 lux through the dome to sustain organisms living in the open body of water.

  • Patent number: 9486358
Abstract: A vitrectomy apparatus is provided, including a pressure source, a cut valve connected to the pressure source, the cut valve configured to be turned on and off to provide pressure to selectively extend and retract a vitrectomy cutting device, a sensor configured to sense pressure provided from the cut valve, and a controller configured to control operation of the cut valve based on pressure sensed by the sensor.

  • Patent number: 9341094
Abstract: A muffler assembly for a vehicle includes a housing at least partially defining an internal cavity and having an inlet and an outlet. The muffler assembly includes an outlet pipe that has an inlet end open to the internal cavity and an outlet end open at the outlet of the housing. A siphon tube is in the internal cavity and has an inlet opening adjacent an inner surface of the housing and an outlet opening in fluid communication with the outlet pipe between the inlet end and the outlet end of the outlet pipe. The siphon tube is configured to remove condensate from the internal cavity when a predetermined pressure differential is established between the inlet opening and the outlet opening.
