Abstract: The invention relates to an automaton useful in cultivating or phenotyping a plurality of plants in a controlled environment, including a plate on which a plurality of movable cultivation substrate holders is placed, said movable holders being capable of consecutively taking every possible position on the surface of said plate. The invention also relates to a facility useful in cultivating or phenotyping a plurality of plants in a controlled environment, particularly including said automaton, and further to a method useful in cultivating or phenotyping a plurality of plants in a controlled environment.
