    Abstract: Quality control compositions suitable as sample specimens to measure performance of DNA probe tests which determine cytogenetic abnormalities, such as chromosome copy number, of cells in a tissue sample are disclosed. The control compositions comprise a suspension of fixed cells having an artificial concentration of cells exhibiting chromosome specific aneuploidy in one or more specific chromosomes.
