  • Patent number: 7829515
Abstract: The invention relates to method of signaling temperature and/or benefit agent release using bar compositions comprising thermochromatic pigment or dye. In a preferred embodiment, the pigment is introduced in the form of a separate domain (e.g., separate chips) which separate chip or chips is combined with a surfactant-containing chips to form the final bar.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 18, 2007
Date of Patent: November 9, 2010

  • Patent number: 7351682
Abstract: The invention discloses bar compositions which are milder than soap but have squeaky feel or rinse associated with soap. This is accomplished by ensuring at least a certain portion (at least 1%), or all, of the soluble surfactant system is ion-sensitive. Further, soluble soap comprises less than 1% by wt. of bar, which helps produce a less alkaline pH bar while allowing squeaky feel to be produced.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 8, 2005
Date of Patent: April 1, 2008
Assignee: Unilever Home & Personal Care USA, division of Conopco, Inc.
