  • Publication number: 20130298759
Abstract: An integrated mecatronic structure for a manipulator assembly with one or more degrees of mobility controlled by one or more actuators can impart to the manipulator assembly a motion activated by control means connected to actuation means, and can include at least one flexible unit consisting of at least one flexible element attached to at least one actuator. The actuator is a volume-change actuator associated with a closely related or local dedicated power unit, including a tank and/or an element for converting the supplied power into another form of energy, able to make the manipulator assembly portable.

  • Publication number: 20110301620
Abstract: The device comprises a first part able to be provided on the free side of one of two hollow biological tissues bearing against each other and a second part able to be provided on the free side of the other of the two hollow biological tissues bearing against each other, the first part comprising two rows of needles enabling the walls of the two hollow biological tissues to be pierced to bring a first suturing thread, and optionally a cut for incising both walls, the second part comprising means for providing a second suturing thread in the loops of the first suturing thread.

  • Publication number: 20110295572
Abstract: A method for producing a flexible mechatronic system includes: a step of modeling the system by a mesh composed of a given combination of elementary blocks, each block being formed of a predefined assemblage of segments representing elementary beams, the mesh including at least one active block controllable by means of a control signal; a step of simulating the behavior of a terminal node of the model in open-loop response to a control signal; a step of characterizing the response by at least one static mechanical criterion and at least one numerical criterion representative of the decay of the resonance spikes of the response as a function of frequency. The above steps may be repeated. They are then followed by a step of selecting a design as a function of the criteria defined in the characterization step, the system being produced on the basis of the selected model.
