  • Patent number: 9761393
Abstract: A method for production of a pole part of a medium-voltage switching device, and a pole part are provided. To obviate costly pressure reinforcements at least on the switching contact side of the vacuum interrupt chamber in the area of the mold core, while also achieving an optimum injection-molded result, a compensation ring is positioned, before the encapsulation process, as a separate injection-molded seal on or close to the external circumferential line of a vacuum interrupt chamber cover, between the lower cover of the vacuum interrupt chamber and the mold core. The positioned compensation ring is also encapsulated so as to remain in the encapsulation, and the mold core is then removed.

  • Patent number: 8729417
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of manufacturing a current terminal for an embedded pole part, in which a vacuum interrupter is molded by an isolating coverage in a hot and pressure injection process, and such a pole part. At the position of the upper electric terminal at the fixed contact side of the vacuum interrupter, a pressure protecting element is placed into the mold, at least close to the upper part the fixed contact side of the vacuum interrupter and/or together with it, and the protecting element, the terminal and the vacuum interrupter are embedded by injection molding.

  • Publication number: 20100300852
Abstract: An exemplary switchgear assembly is disclosed with at least one moveable contact piece, in which the moveable contact is connected to a connection piece electrically with a flexible connection means. A connection between the connector strip and the connection piece of the pole part is provided. The connection can have relatively low electrical and thermal resistance. A flexible connection means is connected to the connection piece directly or with an intermediate piece, which can be connected to the connection piece, cohesively or at least unreleasably.
