  • Patent number: 11473548
Abstract: An electrical load resistance includes a housing having at least one U-shaped receiving pocket, in which at least one PTC heating element is accommodated. The PTC heating element includes at least one PTC element and at least one contact plate electrically conductively connected to the PTC element for energizing the PTC element. The contact plate has a terminal lug for plug contacting the PTC element, and the PTC heating element abuts at least on opposite main side surfaces of the receiving pocket in a heat-conducting manner and projects beyond the terminal lug of the receiving pocket. The housing of the electrical load resistance is closed, and thus has no inlet or outlet openings for a medium to be heated.

  • Patent number: 10965146
Abstract: The present patent application relates to a high-voltage motor vehicle electrical system comprising an electrical heating device and at least on further consumer during switching on of which, undesired electromagnetic oscillations may occur in the electrical system. According to the invention, these are suppressed by initially switching on the heating device, before the further consumer is switched on. Switching on the heating device changes the complete impedance of the electrical system such that a resonant enhancement of the interference oscillations is prevented. Preferably, the heating device is switched on only as shortly as possible (only during the switching on process of the further consumer) in order to minimize an undesired heating.

  • Patent number: 7350617
Abstract: A method for mounting a steering angle and steering torque sensor to a steering has the following steps: At first, there is provided a steering angle and steering torque sensor which includes a housing and a rotor. Then, the rotor and the housing are rotated through a predetermined angular amount with respect to a zero position, and the rotor is attached to a steering shaft that is provided with a pinion toothing. Finally, the steering shaft is inserted into a steering gear which includes a toothed rack, the housing being fixed in place at the steering gear in a predetermined angular position, and the steering shaft being rotated together with the rotor by the pinion toothing engaging in the toothed rack, until the rotor has returned to the zero position relative to the housing.

  • Patent number: 6896786
Abstract: A process for the production of wear-resistant, coated surfaces includes the use of at least two electrodes connected to a voltages source which are mounted in, or border, a reaction space through which an electrolyte flows in which the surface to be coated is located. The process is distinguished by the fact that the direction of the flow of the electrolyte is selectively reversed at least once during the coating process to enable better control of the formation of the oxide layer.
