  • Patent number: 10464007
Abstract: A filter cartridge for a filter apparatus, including: a filter element that encloses an clean space within the filter element, at least partially; wherein the filter element has an outflow opening in flow communication with the clean space in the filter element; wherein the filter element has a longitudinal axis extending through the filter element and through the outflow opening; wherein a hollow base for connecting to a housing-side fastening element is arranged on or in the clean space; wherein an interior of the hollow base is sealed off from the clean space in a flow-tight manner.

  • Patent number: 10300418
Abstract: A filter insert for a filter device, having a filter element arranged on a longitudinal axis extending there through and a front-side flow opening arranged on the front side of the filter element with the longitudinal axis extending through the flow opening. The filter element has, with respect to the longitudinal axis, at least one flattened portion with a reduced radial extension or a through hole along the periphery of the flow opening the shortest interior distance in the filter element immediately adjacent to the front-side flow opening is shorter than the inside diameter of the front-side flow opening.

  • Patent number: 6321718
Abstract: An intake module for an internal combustion engine. The intake module including at least two intake ducts which can be opened and closed by rotatable valves. The valves are connected to one another via a coupling mechanism and to a common actuating mechanism in the form of a servomotor. In order to compensate for tolerances between the valves and the actuating mechanism, the coupling mechanism includes at least one elastic portion, formed by a weakened material portion, which allows the intake valves to be closed and opened completely. The resilience of the coupling mechanism can be brought about by a change in cross-section or a material reduction. In one embodiment of the invention, the coupling mechanism includes multi-part articulated main rods which control the valves by resiliently mounted legs.

  • Patent number: 5472379
Abstract: An air filter includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet. A filter element is insertable into the housing. The filter element includes a filter medium folded in an accordion-like manner, as well as a surrounding seal for sealing off a pure-air area. The air inlet of the housing has the same cross-section as that of the filter element. Holders are arranged on the housing via film hinges. The holders operate to fix the filter element in an installed position in the housing.
