Abstract: A system including a communication bus for data transmission includes: a first interface unit configured to receive a first event message from a first entity coupled to the first interface unit; a second interface unit for coupling a second entity; a backlog storage unit configured to store the first event message and to determine whether the second entity is a subscriber of the first event message; and a first bridge unit configured to translate, if the second entity is a subscriber of the first event message, the first event message by using a first semantic translation into a translated first event message, wherein the second interface unit is configured to receive the translated first event message and to transmit the translated first event message to the second entity.
