    Abstract: Disclosed are toners comprised of a colorant or pigment in a resin of an acrylate polymer of the following typical formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, or substituted alkyl radicals, R.sup.2 is independently selected from alkyl, aryl, substituted alkyl, substituted aryl radicals and R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, substituted alkyl, and substituted aryl; radicals x is an anion, n is a number of from 1 to about 20 and w, y and z are numbers of from 20 to about 1,400, or ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 is independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl or substituted alkyl radicals; R.sup.2 is alkyl, aryl, substituted alkyl, or substituted aryl radicals; R.sup.3, and R.sup.4 are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, substituted alkyl or substituted aryl radicals, and y and z are numbers of from 20 to about 1,400.
