  • Patent number: 10773819
Abstract: A tank assembly is provided and includes a housing which has a housing volume and which is chargeable with a volume of a first fluid, a bladder disposed within the housing and chargeable with a second fluid such that the bladder has a minimal volume in an uncharged state and a flow system. The flow system includes a portion thereof which is coupled to the bladder and which has a second volume within the housing. The flow system is configured to at least charge the bladder with a volume of the second fluid which is equal to or less than a difference between the housing volume less a sum of the minimal volume and the second volume and the volume of the first fluid.

  • Patent number: 10704847
Abstract: A system is provided. The system includes at least two heat exchangers that are alternatively cooled by an outlet medium. The system also includes a cooling circuit that provides a cooling medium to the at least two heat exchangers. The cooling circuit provides the cooling medium to a first heat exchanger of the at least two heat exchangers in accordance with a first mode. The cooling circuit provide the cooling medium to a second heat exchanger of the at least two heat exchangers in accordance with a second mode.

  • Patent number: 10488117
Abstract: Heat exchange systems for aircraft are provided. The heat exchange systems include an inlet manifold and an outlet manifold with a direction of flow being upstream at the inlet manifold and downstream at the outlet manifold, a first heat exchanger core arranged between the inlet manifold and the outlet manifold and located adjacent the inlet manifold, a second heat exchanger core arranged downstream of the first heat exchanger core, a third heat exchanger core arranged downstream of the second heat exchanger core and located adjacent the outlet manifold, wherein the third heat exchanger core is fluidly connected to the first heat exchanger core, and a control system operably connected to the first heat exchanger core and the third heat exchanger core, wherein the control system is arranged to direct a fluid between the first and third heat exchanger cores.

  • Patent number: 10378764
Abstract: A system for boiler control is provided. The system includes supply units to provide supplies of combustion materials for combustion thereof, a vessel coupled to the supply units in which the combustion materials are combusted, a carbon monoxide (CO) sensor disposed at an outlet of the vessel to sense a quantity of exhaust CO output from the vessel as a product of combustion therein and a control unit. The control unit is coupled to the supply units and the sensor and configured to issue a main servo command and a pulse servo command to one or more of the supply units to control operations of the one or more supply units in accordance with the sensed quantity of the exhaust CO.
