  • Publication number: 20240152487
Abstract: Data storage management is carried out by an Internet of Things platform having access to operational and long-term databases carrying tables for storing device-related data emitted from connected devices. Device-related data is received and stored in operational database table entries. Tables are associated with devices. Table entries are associated with entry dates. A table in the operational database is monitored to obtain load statistics. Data from the operational database is offloaded by replication to the long-term database. Queries against operational database tables are tracked to obtain query statistics. Cleanup rules determining timeframes within which data stored in operational database table entries are to be deleted are set up, based on a date of data entry. Cleanup rules currently set up are carried out as a retention run, based on the load statistics and/or query statistics.

  • Patent number: 10255238
Abstract: The present technology concerns a complex event processing (CEP) engine for processing CEP queries over data streams. The CEP engine has a parser, adapted for parsing a received CEP query into a logical query graph and a translator adapted for translating the logical query graph into a physical query plan in accordance with one of a plurality of data stream representations. The logical query graph is independent of the plurality of data stream representations.

  • Patent number: 10089362
Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to techniques for investigating event streams in complex event processing (CEP) environments. Input events from one or more input event streams and query registration-related events from a registration event stream are received. Query registration-related events are associated with actions taken with respect to queries performed on the input event stream(s). Event-based profiles are developed by subjecting the received input events to a profiling CEP engine. Event-based profiles include data mining related and/or statistical characteristics for each input event stream. Query-based profiles are developed by subjecting the received query registration-related events to the CEP engine. Query-based profiles include data indicative of how relevant the queries performed on the input event stream(s) are and/or how those queries are relevant to the input event stream(s) on which they are performed.

  • Publication number: 20180216629
Abstract: A radial compressor having a compressor rotor with blades; a compressor housing, a diffuser having guide vanes. The diffuser delimits a flow duct in radial direction. The guide vanes of have a flow inlet edge, a flow outlet edge, and flow-conducting sides. The guide vanes project into the flow duct that is delimited by the diffuser. The guide vanes merge into a support body subject to forming a curvature region that is defined on the flow side. In each position of the curvature region, i.e. in the region of the flow inlet edge, in the region of the flow outlet edge and in regions between the flow inlet edge and the flow outlet edge a curvature radius that is defined on the flow side is formed in each case.
